Applying for life or long-term care insurance involves a short application process and in most cases an insurance physical and lab work which are done at no cost to you.
Applications take about 15 to 20 minutes and are completed over the phone directly with Bill. In most cases an insurance physical and lab work are also required and are done at your home and take about 45 minutes at the most.
Generally, underwriting take about 3 to 5 weeks. Some go much faster and yes, some do take a little longer.
Yes. We often find this need is overlooked and we strongly encourage you to consider life insurance on your spouse/significant other or family members.
Their passing can have a dramatic impact and having the additional financial means to take time off to get affairs in order and "recover" from a loss is important.
Group life is generally inexpensive in the short term. We often find that Pilots want coverage to at least age 65 and it is the cumulative "price" comparison we would ask you to look at when comparing rates.
Limits on the amount of coverage available, the risk of loss of coverage if unable to work and loss of coverage should you leave the company should also be considered.
Our policies are not tied to your employer or ability to work and the rates remain the same for the term period you choose as long as you pay the premium.
Our long term care plans may also provide guaranteed premiums and lifetime benefits.
Yes, for life insurance, you can use our
life insurance quote tool for prices.
Please note, the information you input into our quote tool is "private" and not submitted to us unless you decide to request an application directly from us.
Of course we are available to personally assist you too, especially if you are serving in the Military, fly general aviation, or just want professional help with your quotes or deciding on how much coverage you need.
We do need to run Long-Term Care quotes for you as there is no "easy" tool to offer.
No. While we focus on finding a policy that is "right" for you, sometimes the rates for outside coverage does not work out as expected and you are not obligated or "locked in" to accepting a policy.
Unlike benefit enrollment decisions, you can cancel your "outside" policy at any time and with some of our carriers you can even reduce your coverage amount as your needs change over the years to fit your needs.
